What a GREAT riding day! A front came through last night and cleared out all the humidity (most of it) and dropped the temps to around 70. I hung in the motel until 9 to let the last of the showers clear out.

I enjoyed this day's ride on the BRP most; rode through woods, fields, over mountains, under mountains, around mountains, up mountains, down mountains. Though, I did see my first two pieces of trash, not too bad for 300 miles.

Stopped in a rest area at mile mark 300 and spoke with some folks who had just seen a bear at mile mark 324. Well, I did see two more turkeys, one was in some sorta rusted out red car that shot past me on a turn. Sweet! Where do you get those James Bond motorcycle mounted rocket launchers?

Met a retired Navy IC man by the name of Neal. He lives in Georgia and rides and camps all over these darn hills.

Zumo did a good job today. Only got lost once but quickly figured it out. A nice feature: gives you a real good idea how sharp the curve is your approaching which lets you get on the brakes a tad more if need be.

Dinners are getting to be a little ...! Last night I had truck stop fried chicken cooked in grease with green beans cooked in grease and pinto beans cooked in grease. Nearest place to eat was about 3 miles away. Tonight no much better, nearest real restaurant is about 5 miles away BUT, across the street is a gas station with a Subway AND Ta Daaaaaaaaa!!!!!!! BEER. What a meal, a BMT, loaded and some good ol' Coors light. Took ma 6 pak and samich and saty down by them thar raroad tracks. Every ting be irie, mon! Speak to Big Gene or Orlando for definition.
